Hello Sisters and Brothers!

Business Manager Sean Bagsby is very committed to the education of the membership, and he has shown that commitment by restarting Leadership Training classes in 2021.

We have completed the class schedule for the 2023 Leadership Training series. Please find a link to the brochure below. The first class starts on Saturday, February 25.

So, if you do not get in this year, there is always next year.

The Leadership Classes consist of 12 separate classes.

Educational and fun these classes will help you understand the value of Labor Unions, how they operate, what is Representation, Grievance Handing, Organizing, and more.

Internship Program

With the return of the Leadership Training Classes in 2021, Local 46 also restarted the Internship Program.

The Internship Program lasts 3 months. Those members who are chosen for the Internship Program will spend one month in Dispatch, one month in Organizing, and one month in Representation.

To be considered for the Intern program you must complete all 12 classes.

 

COMET and Code of Excellence

The COMET and Code of Excellence classes are held year round, alternating bimonthly on the second Tuesday of the month.

Even though these classes are being held multiple times, you only need to complete each class one time.
