The IBEW Local 46 Women’s Committee is a place to socialize, strategize, and support the success of women within all units of Local 46 and with other unions and the community. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm, currently by Zoom. All are welcome. The committee was originally known as Electrical Sisters United (ESU), a strong informal network of Local 46 women who wanted to provide mentoring for the next generation of tradeswomen. ESU was chartered as an official IBEW Women’s Committee in 2019, with elected officers and bylaws. The Committee organizes Days of Service, participates in the Women in Trades Fair and other community outreach, and works toward industry practices that are inclusive. |
